Turlock Cal Express win home opener

657 days after their last home game the Turlock Cal Express returned to action at Turlock Indoor Soccer. On January 10 Cal Express welcomed the Empire Jets back to TIS and came away with a 9-7 victory.

Israel Olivares scored the first goal of the game for Turlock who built a 4-0 advantage before the Jets got on the board.

Ivan Rios opened scoring in the second half giving the home side a 6-2 lead. Empire would go on a three-goal run in the fourth to get within a goal, before Jamie Carbajal closed out scoring late in the game to seal the victory.
